Lanza del Relámpago

This attack belongs exclusively to the bat winged, second release stage of Ulquiorra Cifer, one of Aizen's Espada. Its name blends Spanish and Japanese readings, translating roughly to a lance of thunder and lightning, while the Viz edition renders it simply as Lightning Bolt. Ulquiorra summons the weapon by shaping his own reiryoku into a slender, javelin like armament.

The lance closely mirrors the outline of Luz de la Luna, except that energy streams off both of its tips like licking flames, lending it an arrow like silhouette. Ulquiorra can drive it into a foe as a handheld blade or launch it across the field as a missile. A thrown one erupts into a blast of staggering scale, its column rising higher than the fortress surrounding him. He tends to keep his distance rather than strike up close, and although he can loose several in quick succession, steering their flight proves troublesome. Used as a cutting edge, it dissolves whatever it meets, a property shown when he obliterated his own severed arm after Zangetsu flung it back at him.

Ulquiorra Cifer is the sole wielder, unveiling the technique during his climactic clash in Hueco Mundo.
