Personality

Unlike an ordinary Doll, Messer holds no mind, will, or character of its own. Because it was summoned using Ran'Tao's Bount amulet, it fuses with Kariya's physical form rather than inhabiting a separate object, so its crest sits on the left of his chest, and he can tap its core ability without ever formally calling it out.

Abilities

Messer's essence is command over the wind. Even partly summoned, it hurls grown men aside, wraps swirling currents around Kariya's arms for both attack and defense, topples wooden structures with sustained gales, and tears through stone walls with gusts that spin into small tornadoes. Brought out in full, it forges a slender, pointed blade of air able to trade blows evenly with Tensa Zangetsu. Kariya layers on further techniques: a spherical Wind Barrier that has turned aside Senbonzakura and Tensa Zangetsu alike, the Windestanz that merges four twisters into one to fling a foe skyward, the Wind Licht Schneide that fires a compressed gust strong enough to cancel a Bankai-charged Getsuga Tensho, and a Lightning Blade conjured from static in the air. His bond with Messer also lets him raise a red energy barrier that repels other Dolls.
