Robert Accutrone

A full mustache and thin-rimmed glasses sit above Robert's gaunt cheeks, his light brown hair combed straight back. He dresses in his own take on the Sternritter's white uniform: the order's hooded cloak over a trench coat that falls to his calves and cinches at the waist with a white belt, worn above a shirt, a blue tie, and matching white trousers and shoes. Now and then he is seen carrying a silver briefcase.

Robert keeps a cool, unhurried front, brushing past Shunsui Kyoraku's words to strike first rather than trade banter. Even bloodied, he stays courteous, going so far as to praise a foe for rediscovering his fighting spirit. Much of his steadiness comes from an unshakable belief in Yhwach, whose battles he says lift his own resolve. That certainty makes his final unraveling all the sharper: once he grasps that the Sternritter left behind are meant to be spent as fuel for Yhwach's Auswahlen, his composure gives way to panic and raving.

During the Thousand-Year Blood War, Robert musters with the Sternritter at the Gate of the Sun and descends on the Seireitei, raising columns of blue fire before the fighting begins. He is soon met by Shunsui Kyoraku, and by briefly unfurling his Vollstandig, Grimaniel, he slips behind the captain and shoots out his right eye, then picks off a Riteitai from a distance without even looking. When Yamamoto's arrival ends in the old commander's death, Robert exploits Shunsui's grief to shoot him repeatedly and opens a shadow portal to pour Soldat troops into the city. He is stunned when Yhwach later names Uryu Ishida his heir, and in a meeting at Silbern he questions the order to kill the captains whose Bankai the Sternritter had stolen.

Robert fights as a Quincy marksman, shaping absorbed reishi into a handgun whose muzzle flashes in the outline of the Wandenreich cross and firing compact Heilig Pfeil bullets potent enough to incinerate a Riteitai. His designated speed makes him a Hirenkyaku expert, sharpened further by Grimaniel, and he can tear open a Shadow to move troops or himself between locations. In the second invasion he presses his pistol to Ichigo Kurosaki's temple only for Ichigo to shove it aside, and he confirms to Bazz-B that no Special War Powers stand among the arriving Shinigami. Alongside Candice Catnipp and NaNaNa Najahkoop he takes on Byakuya Kuchiki, even resorting to Sklaverei to force his Vollstandig to its peak, yet Byakuya's Bankai puts him down. His end is grim: a frantic Robert corners Liltotto Lamperd to spell out that Yhwach treats the Sternritter as disposable tools, and as he speaks the light of Auswahlen strips away his flesh, leaving only his skeleton to drop to the ground.
