Runuganga is a colossal, sand-formed Hollow stationed as the Guardian of the White Sands, tasked by Sosuke Aizen with turning away anyone who trespasses on the approach to Las Noches. His body of shifting grit leaves him nearly impossible to wound by force alone.
Towering and grey, Runuganga is composed entirely of sand. A low cloth hangs at his waist and ornamented bands circle each wrist, while the mass that serves as his head is shaped like a sandcastle. His forearms swell far thicker than the upper arms above them, and the hollow hole that marks his kind sits at the middle of his chest.
Little of his temperament surfaces during his brief appearance. What does show is a strong sense of grievance: he reads Ichigo Kurosaki's Getsuga Tensho as an underhanded, pitiless blow and reacts with genuine anger.

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....
Runuganga's defining gift is command over sand. He can scoop out enormous pits to swallow intruders whole, whip up multiple whirlwinds, and widen his jaw grotesquely to devour a whole group at once. Because his form is loose grit, he shrugs off most blades and Kido by simply pulling himself back together, and the anime notes he keeps countless bodies, so destroying one does not end him.
His single fatal flaw is water, which stops him from reforming, a rare danger given how little liquid exists in Hueco Mundo. When Renji Abarai and Rukia Kuchiki arrive to aid the cornered intruders, Rukia's ice-wielding Sode no Shirayuki, through her Hakuren dance, freezes the guardian and destroys him in one stroke.
