History
Years earlier she was at the wheel with her husband beside her when a lapse in attention caused a fatal collision; she walked away while he did not, his spirit later twisted into a Hollow. After that Hollow perishes a second time while aiding Ichigo Kurosaki alongside Byakuya Kuchiki, he visits her sleep to speak of the allies he fought beside. Ichigo, Rukia Kuchiki, and Orihime Inoue then call on her in Karakura Town to hand back a pencil cap bearing her husband's name, a keepsake she had once given him. She goes on to point the group toward the Sacred Mountain, recalling that her husband knew it by the name Soriyama.
