Teatro de Titere is one of the signature tricks Szayelaporro Granz unveils in his released state during the fighting in Hueco Mundo. Rather than striking directly, it turns a foe into a plaything bound to a small effigy, and the sadistic Espada narrates the whole cruel process as he takes his victim apart.

Szayelaporro seizes a target with one of his wing-like appendages and then spits them back out, whereupon a strand of the wing swells with purple fluid and ruptures to birth a small doll molded in the captive's likeness. The bound victim, left disoriented, remains tied to that effigy: prying it open and disturbing the internal organs, each labeled in Spanish, inflicts matching harm on the real body without leaving an outward mark, while even scratches to the doll's surface register on its owner.

Szayelaporro Granz originates the technique, and only Twelfth Division Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi has ever escaped it, having swapped his own organs for dummies beforehand. In the novel Bleach: Spirits Are Forever With You, Szayelaporro's clone Cien Granz reproduces the method, though there the dolls inherit the victim's durability, so a target as tough as Kenpachi Zaraki cannot be harmed, forcing Cien to abandon it.
