The Almighty

When Yhwach or Haschwalth calls the power up, the irises and pupils of both eyes multiply into three. Yhwach first re-awakened it with only doubled pupils during his clash with Ichibe'e Hyōsube, gaining the third pair once he nullified the monk's technique, while Haschwalth's blue eyes shift to red to match Yhwach's whenever he channels it. Yhwach names these all-seeing eyes the proof of a true Quincy.

The ability grants sweeping precognition: its user takes in everything set to happen from this instant onward, far into what lies ahead, though Yhwach does not read a single fixed timeline so much as observe countless possible outcomes scattered like grains of sand, then acts on that knowledge to anticipate and undo his foes. Its deeper strength, as he stresses, is not merely seeing the future but rewriting it, letting him lay traps where enemies will stand, strike before they react, heal his own wounds and even his own death, and render harmless any power he has already come to know. Only Yhwach can alter the future in this way, whereas Haschwalth can do no more than watch it unfold.

The power is not flawless. It weakens sharply in Haschwalth's keeping, and killing him while he holds it destroys it outright. The Soul King and his fragments stay invisible to its visions, potent illusions such as Aizen's Kyōka Suigetsu can deceive it, abilities that rewrite the past can undercut its changes to the future, and contact between Yhwach's blood and the silver left in those slain by Auswählen briefly shuts it down.

Long before the Lichtreich's first assault on Soul Society, Ichibe'e Hyōsube sealed the power using the Soul King's left arm, leaving Yhwach to wage that ancient war effectively blind. After Yamamoto struck him down, nine hundred years passed before his heart beat again, ninety more before his mind returned, and nine before his strength did, and had he opened his eyes too soon he might have drained the power from his own Sternritter. By outside lore, The Almighty was first the Soul King's own gift, passed to Yhwach as the king's son, which is why the Soul King bears the same many-pupiled eyes.
