Utsusu
CharacterUtsusu, meaning Imitate, is one of the techniques belonging to Urozakuro, the ever-active Bankai of the former captain Sōya Azashiro. It exploits his fusion with a cache of Gigai to let him cast overwhelming volleys of high-level Kidō at once.
Overview
Utsusu is a signature trick of Sōya Azashiro's fusion-based Bankai, drawing its strength from the many Gigai he has merged with. Rather than an attack in itself, it is a means of multiplying his spellcasting far beyond what a single body could manage.
Mechanics
Because Azashiro has fused with the Gigai stockpile of the Shinigami Research and Development Institute, Utsusu lets him project mouths, hands, and other body parts across many places at the same time. Through these borrowed forms he can chant and release hundreds of powerful Kidō together, up to spells on the order of Hadō 96, Ittō Kasō. The sheer volume of fire can bury whole ranks of opponents and destroy even a captain-class foe, all without costing him any part of his true body.
