The Espada Gather! Aizen's Royal Assembly

Yasutora Sado finishes Demoura Zodd with El Directo as Uryū Ishida cuts down Aisslinger Wernarr, telling the dying Arrancar to warn Aizen to fear the Quincy. Aisslinger reveals the underground chamber is built to self-destruct when its guardians fall, and muses that Aizen fears nothing before the room collapses. Ichigo, Sado, and Uryū burst free onto the surface and spot the vast palace of Las Noches looming far across the desert.

Deep within the fortress, the Espada assemble around their meeting table and trade remarks about the intruders who breached the twenty-second passage. Aizen enters with Gin Ichimaru and Kaname Tōsen, greets his ranks, and offers them tea before displaying an image of the approaching invaders.

Crossing the endless sands, the trio is caught in a sudden sandstorm, and Uryū shields them with a miniature Reishukaku that Kūkaku Shiba once gave him. Ichigo's bickering cracks the barrier, forcing Sado to blast it apart and leaving the group buried in an avalanche of sand. Uryū later explains that Hueco Mundo's atmosphere is so dense with Reishi that small Hollows sustain themselves by breathing, and warns that the same density strengthens the Arrancar as much as it does him.

In the meeting chamber, Aizen names each invader and cautions the Espada not to underestimate the Ryoka who once defied the Gotei 13. When Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez rises to hunt them without orders, Aizen forces him to his knees with sheer Reiatsu before dismissing the Espada to their palaces. Outside, the exhausted heroes spot Nel Tu fleeing from Pesche, Dondochakka, and Bawabawa, and Ichigo rushes to help her.

The episode adapts pages from Chapter 243 through Chapter 245 within the Hueco Mundo arc. The anime expands the trek across the desert, the sandstorm sequence, and several Espada reactions. The closing Arrancar Encyclopedia has Gin describe the barren, waterless realm of Hueco Mundo, only for Aizen to tease the secret behind their tea.
