The Cage of Life, also called the Womb or the Tree of Life, is a defensive structure grown by Kirio Hikifune from the remnants of a tree soaked in her Reiatsu. Its branches have become so hungry for spiritual energy that they consume any Reiatsu aimed at the tree itself, which allows the cage to keep spreading at a remarkable pace.
Function
Hikifune can sprout the tree's branches straight from her body at will, and the growth reaches out on its own to intercept hostile projectiles while letting harmless objects, such as Yhwach's Medallion, pass through. When a branch is cut, she quickly mends and reinforces it with new seedlings, and she can raise fresh shoots inside the cage to seal individual fighters into thick-walled chambers or to form shapes like pillars. The defense does have a firm limit: it cannot stop raw energy such as Auswählen.
