Gran Caída is the great double-bladed axe wielded by Baraggan Louisenbairn, the Segunda Espada. A relic of his reign as the God-King of Hueco Mundo, the weapon reappears in his released form, kept concealed within his cloak until he draws it in battle.
Translated as the Axe of Ruin, Gran Caída is the armament Baraggan carried long before he joined the Arrancar, dating to his days ruling Hueco Mundo. When he enters his Resurrección, the axe takes on a leaner, darker shape than the battleaxe form of his sealed Zanpakutō. Two pointed heads flank a heavy spike jutting from the center, while golden chains at its base run into his cloak and anchor to an ornate band around his right wrist.
Baraggan handles the massive weapon with a single hand and keeps it hidden beneath his garments until he chooses to strike. He brings it out against Marechiyo Ōmaeda, mockingly casting it as the lieutenant's execution blade. The axe can also carry his aging miasma, Respira, concentrating that decay into a slash strong enough to cut through the spiritual barriers of Hachigen Ushōda.

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Gran Caida belongs solely to Baraggan Louisenbairn. He carried it long before joining the Arrancar, dating back to his days ruling Hueco Mundo, and it reappears in his released form.
Gran Caida can carry Baraggan's aging miasma, Respira, concentrating that decay into a slash strong enough to cut through spiritual barriers, as it does against Hachigen Ushoda. Baraggan handles the massive axe with a single hand and keeps it hidden beneath his cloak until he chooses to strike.
As Baraggan crumbles to dust in the fake Karakura Town, he hurls the corroding Gran Caida at Sosuke Aizen in a final bid for revenge. The weapon rots away to nothing before it can reach its target.
In Baraggan's Resurreccion, Gran Caida takes on a leaner, darker shape than his sealed Zanpakuto's battleaxe form. Two pointed heads flank a heavy central spike, while golden chains at its base run into his cloak and anchor to an ornate band around his right wrist.
