Function
The weapon resembles a shotgun. A heavy metal barrel ridged along the top is clamped to a solid wooden stock by a pair of metal bands, the trigger sits behind a rectangular guard, and a removable metal section rests atop the stock near the barrel. Firing it sends out focused bursts of Kidō forceful enough to wound and rattle Jin Kariya even after he had absorbed extra power.

The Kidō Gun is used solely by Ran'Tao, the anime-original scientist who accidentally created the Bount. She turns it on Jin Kariya during their confrontation in the Seireitei, landing telling hits before he overwhelms her. Like Ran'Tao herself, the weapon appears only in the anime.
