Summary

At the Urahara Shop, Jinta scolds Ururu for selling a damaged Gikongan, but Urahara takes the blame and resolves to recapture Kon before he causes trouble in a human body. On the school grounds, Kon tests his enhanced legs by nearly kicking a fence in half, then leaps onto a distant rooftop to escape a groundskeeper who mistakes him for Ichigo.

Inside, Orihime celebrates lunchtime with her odd food pairings while Tatsuki and Chizuru bicker over Chizuru's advances. The quarrel breaks off when Orihime claims she can smell Ichigo, and Kon promptly vaults onto the third-floor windowsill. Basking in the girls' attention, he kisses Orihime's hand and then Tatsuki, throwing the room into chaos.

Outside, Ichigo and Rukia hurry back as a window shatters above them, and Ichigo recognizes his own classroom. Tatsuki hurls a desk at Kon, who mocks her for overreacting to a small kiss. When Rukia orders him to freeze from the doorway and Ichigo blocks the window, Kon simply leaps past him and drops to the ground far below, landing unharmed and fleeing at high speed. Watching, Rukia concludes he is a modified soul.
