270. WARning

Descending a staircase, Ulquiorra Cifer meets a stunned Ichigo Kurosaki and coldly announces that Rukia Kuchiki is dead, slain in a mutual kill with the ninth Espada, Aaroniero Arruruerie. He knows the outcome despite never fighting her because Aaroniero's power relayed everything he perceived to his allies. Behind a sealed door, Orihime Inoue pounds and pleads, having watched Rukia run through. Refusing to accept the claim, Ichigo turns to go save her and remarks that he has no reason to kill Ulquiorra, who has not harmed his friends.

Ulquiorra corrects him: he is the one who carried Orihime into Hueco Mundo and deliberately made everyone believe she had defected. Enraged, Ichigo sets Nel down and attacks, confirming that Orihime was taken against her will, but Ulquiorra blocks the blow with his forearm. Warning that he will not hold back, Ichigo releases his Bankai, dons his Hollow mask, and crashes down with a spirit-charged strike that forces Ulquiorra to guard again. A forward slash sends the Espada smashing through pillars, and when Ulquiorra tries to catch the ensuing massive Getsuga Tenshō with both hands, the blast overwhelms and engulfs him.

Ulquiorra declares Rukia dead and admits he abducted Orihime and framed her as a traitor. A furious Ichigo attacks, activates his Bankai and Hollow mask, and blasts Ulquiorra with a huge Getsuga Tenshō.
