After dropping Ichigo into her tank, Riruka wanders off despite Kugo needing her to end the effect later, brushing him off until the session wraps. Yukio grumbles that he hates her moods and idly wonders where Giriko has gone. Within the tank, Jackie presses Ichigo to treat the spar as a life-or-death fight, then triggers her Fullbring, Dirty Boots, and comes at him. Ichigo evades, quizzes her about how her power works, and returns fire when she refuses to explain, content to work it out mid-battle.

Elsewhere, Orihime walks into a pole while on the phone with Sado, then admits she was sure she had been cut yet woke to no wound and no sign of Tsukishima or Moe. Unsettlingly, she describes briefly perceiving Tsukishima as a friend, as though drawn from an old memory, which alarms Sado. Over his meal, Tsukishima pins Moe with a fork and dismisses him from any further business with Orihime, declaring she is already theirs while he weighs whether to target Sado or Ichigo next.

Jackie activates Dirty Boots to test Ichigo, who begins deducing her ability through combat. Orihime's account confirms Tsukishima's power leaves no wound yet reshapes memory, warping her sense of him into that of a friend. Tsukishima releases Moe from his task while considering his next target.
