Ichigo comes home to discover Tsukishima seated with his sisters as though he were an old family cousin, having just shared dinner with them. When Ichigo seizes him and demands answers, Yuzu and Karin scold him for hurting their guest, and Tsukishima smoothly excuses the outburst as embarrassment over the late intrusion. Soon Keigo, Mizuiro, and Tatsuki arrive, all greeting Tsukishima like a longtime friend, and Tatsuki chides Ichigo for worrying his sisters by staying out at night.

When Tsukishima picks up the phone to invite Orihime and Sado over, Ichigo hurls him into the wall. Rather than fear the intruder, the whole room rushes to Tsukishima's aid and turns on Ichigo, insisting he apologize and branding his behavior bizarre.

Unable to bear the false reality any longer, Ichigo bolts from the house and puzzles over the nature of the power warping everyone around him. He runs into Ikumi Unagiya, who takes him back to her shop, fixes him a drink, and offers him somewhere to settle down. Before he can confide in her, the doorbell rings, and she returns to announce that Tsukishima has come to cheer him up, sending Ichigo running once again. Convinced he may be the last person left untouched, he is met by a winded Ginjo, who reports that Tsukishima has already reached the rest of Xcution.

Found in Volume 52, End of Bond, the chapter belongs to the Lost Substitute Shinigami arc and shows the frightening reach of Tsukishima's memory-altering Fullbring. It was adapted into the anime as Episode 358, Clash?! Xcution Attacks Ginjo.
