Restored to full Shinigami power, Ichigo confronts a stunned Ginjo, who cannot fathom how the strength he stole was handed back. Rukia and the arriving Gotei 13 captains explain that Ginjo only ever claimed the Fullbring portion, and Ichigo answers with a Getsuga Tensho of overwhelming force.
Ichigo rises with his Shinigami abilities intact, and Rukia scolds him as a crybaby before explaining that the blade she used revived his powers. Ginjo protests that this should be impossible, since he had drained Ichigo's strength and no single person could hand it all back. A group of Soul Reapers then appears, among them Byakuya, Renji, Kenpachi, Ikkaku, and Hitsugaya, and Renji reveals that each of them poured a share of their own Reiatsu into the restoration.
Rukia clarifies that all Ginjo ever seized was the power fused with Ichigo's Fullbring, and that his genuine Shinigami strength was never his to take. Grasping the truth, Ichigo turns on Ginjo in earnest.
Ichigo swings his sword and releases a sweeping shock wave, which Ginjo mistakes for a Getsuga Tensho and shrugs off as too weak to kill him. Ichigo corrects him, revealing that the strike was nothing more than a warm-up motion, and he begins gathering his actual Getsuga Tensho. He unleashes the attack as Ginjo stares in disbelief at the sheer scale of his restored Reiatsu.
