Summary
The eleven players chosen out of Blue Lock line up against the Japan U-20 team in a nationally televised representative fixture. Whichever side prevails walks away with authority over the country's national squad. The task looks daunting for the newcomers, since Sae Itoshi anchors the opposing lineup and Ryusei Shido lines up beside him.
Aftermath
The match finishes 4 to 3 in favor of the Blue Lock Eleven. Sae Itoshi opens the scoring before Seishiro Nagi and Rin Itoshi answer back, then Shido strikes twice to swing the tally the other way. Late goals from Shoei Baro and Yoichi Isagi, the latter set up by Rin, seal the upset for the program's roster.
