Canali

Canali is a young man whose medium-length hair is swept back and held off his face by a headband. Thick brows angled to a sharp point lend him a piercing look, backed by wide, locked-in eyes and a heavy jawline. His build is trim and clearly conditioned for the position between the posts. On the field he stands out from his Ubers teammates in a short-sleeved keeper's jersey cut differently from the rest, paired with shorts and gloves.

Resolve defines the way Canali keeps goal. His expression stays hard and fixed on the play at all times, and he keeps barking direction to the outfielders in front of him, steering the defense as much as he stops shots.

As the last line of the Ubers defense, Canali fills the goalkeeper role, the only player permitted to handle the ball inside the field of play. His job is to block attempts, smother danger around the box and launch the ball back downfield to a teammate, often with a long drop kick. During the meeting between Ubers and Bastard München he picked up an injury to his side and had to give way to Gen Fukaku, yet he later reappears for the fixture against Manshine City, so his recovery seems to have gone smoothly.
