Choki is the potted cactus that belongs to Seishiro Nagi, left in the care of his housekeeper Ba-ya while Nagi is away at the Blue Lock project. Its distinctive shape earned it both a name and a fond place in Nagi's room.
Choki is a small cactus made up of three rounded bulbs, two larger ones near the top and a lone smaller one jutting from the side. Together they read like a hand held up in a peace sign, the resemblance that gave the plant its name and the reason Nagi flashes it the very same gesture before he heads out.
The cactus works as the ideal roommate for someone like Nagi. Whoever handed it over picked it as the least bothersome option, and it asks almost nothing in return, needing water only once every two or three weeks, so it can largely be left to itself. Nagi keeps it close simply because he likes having a bit of company in his room.
Choki came to Nagi as a gift and settled into his room, where he grew genuinely attached to it. With Nagi off at the Blue Lock facility, the plant now sits under Ba-ya's watch. Its name borrows the Japanese onomatopoeia choki, tied to the act of cutting, since its silhouette echoes a pair of scissors, the same shape formed by the scissors throw in rock-paper-scissors, which in Japanese is likewise called choki.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
