Overview

Competing in the English leagues of the Blue Lock world, Manshine City sits among the strongest clubs in Europe and boasts one of the planet's premier strikers. Its identity rests on physical dominance, a team that snatches goals by bending the mechanics of the game to sheer athletic power. The side answers to Chris Prince, races out in white, blue, and cyan, and draws obvious inspiration from Manchester City, complete with kits that appear to be supplied by Nike.

Role

Speed and relentless pressure define the club's approach. Manshine City strikes in bursts, launching rapid attacks and counters and using pure body strength to overturn what the sport normally allows. For the Neo Egoist League the plan ran through Reo Mikage and the midfield, who constructed openings for a forward trio of Seishiro Nagi, Agi, and Hyoma Chigiri. Nagi anchored that attack and was handed the room to improvise and manufacture chances himself, while Agi propped him up and the remaining forwards hunted goals on their own initiative.

Results, however, never matched the ambition. The club lost every fixture it played in the tournament, falling to Bastard München two goals to three, to Paris X Gen one to three, to Ubers by the same one to three margin, and finally to FC Barcha two to three. It also trailed Livers by a single goal in a separate outing whose conclusion goes unrecorded. Chigiri emerged as the sharpest scorer with three goals, Reo chipped in a strike plus a pair of assists, and Nagi added one more goal. After the showings against Paris X Gen and Ubers, the club elevated Chigiri to its lead forward, with Nagi and Reo choosing to commit fully in the closing match against FC Barcha to lift their own market value.

Notable Members

The core English lineup features Rook in goal alongside Damon, Busby, Young, Driver, Swift, Arthur, and the striker Agi, with Chris Prince serving as the master forward. For the Neo Egoist League the roster swelled with Blue Lock talent: Seishiro Nagi, Reo Mikage, Hyoma Chigiri, Reiji Hiiragi, Kazuma Nio, Hajime Nishioka, Junichi Wanima, Kairu Saramadara, and Taiga Tsunzaki. The club chased several of these players afterward, tabling eighty-eight million yen for Nagi following the second round, a figure later withdrawn or slashed below twenty-four million, plus ninety million for Chigiri and eighty million for Agi once the final round closed. Manshine City carries the unwanted distinction of being the only side to lose every Neo Egoist League game and to score the fewest goals of the entire competition.
