Team X is one of the eleven-player squads assembled for the First Selection stage of the Blue Lock program. Built around a single dominant scorer, they open the round-robin as the first opponents Team Z must face before sliding to the bottom of their group.
Team X takes part in the round-robin First Selection held inside the Blue Lock facility, a Japanese unit dressed in white and black. Their most memorable moment arrives at the very start of the stage, when they line up as the first hurdle Team Z has to clear.
The squad wins its debut fixture against Team Z by a 5-1 scoreline, a result engineered by Daiya Morinaga, who talks his teammates into dropping personal glory and funneling everything toward their ace. Feeding the ball to Shoei Baro pays off at once, with Baro burying four of the five goals. The tactic proves brittle once rivals adapt, and the same one-man reliance leaves the side exposed. After that bright opening they drop every remaining match, falling to Team W, Team Y, and Team V, and settle at the foot of the standings. Only Baro, the group's leading marksman, earns a place in the Second Selection.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
The eleven-man roster runs from Yuza Dokomo and Tsukoteru Eiyu through Yawara Banku, Daiya Morinaga, Chihiro Ezaki, Haato Meiji, Kosei Otsuka, Ruto Kora, Burai Daido, and Rian Sanga, with Shoei Baro wearing number ten as the striker everything revolves around. Baro finishes as the top scorer on ten goals, while Haato Meiji adds one, and both Rian Sanga and Yawara Banku are credited with a single assist. The team is disbanded once the First Selection concludes.

Team X won its opening match against Team Z five to one but then lost every remaining fixture, falling to Team W, Team Y, and Team V to finish at the bottom of its group.
Shoei Baro finished as Team X's top scorer with ten goals, well ahead of Haato Meiji's single goal for the team.
