Summary

From the monitor room, Isagi, Nanase, and Hiori review the Team A and Team C clash after watching Reo's copied strike. Isagi marvels at Reo's knack for mimicking rival players, and while Nanase deems him unstoppable, Hiori cautions that Reo can only ever reach ninety-nine percent of an original, a shortfall that could doom him against a truly superior opponent. Out on the pitch, Rin nets his fifth to close out a five-to-three win for Team A, leaving Reo to admit he still falls short of the Top 6. Even as Nagi praises him, Reo tells him not to waste his attention, privately vowing to grow into someone worth chasing.

At the football union, the Japan under-twenty coach Yasumori Hoichi assures Buratsuta of victory over Blue Lock, pointing to the arrival of Sae Itoshi, to whom the union has handed every recording of the project as he asked. Sae then strides in with his manager and dismisses the under-twenty setup as garbage, mocking its forwards as half-boiled frogs, and refuses to suit up unless he can partner a striker drawn from Blue Lock.

Key Events

Back in the waiting room, Isagi stirs from a nap to find most of the players glued to the final round of fixtures. Nanase relays the outcomes of the other clashes, and Isagi notes that Team A remains undefeated while Baro and Bachira each found the net in their matches.

In the closing contest, Rin and Shido tear toward a Kurona pass, and Rin jabs home the goal even as Shido yanks his head back. The final whistle only escalates their feud into flying fists and threats, and when Shido drives a knee into Rin's face and bloodies his nose, then readies another blow meant to split his skull, Ego triggers the anti-riot shock built into Shido's suit to stop him cold. With the round complete, Ego declares that in six hours he will reveal the lineup for Blue Lock's showdown with the Japan under-twenty side.
