Yukimiya walks out reflecting on the effort it took to lift his numbers and earn a start on merit rather than by leaning on Isagi, resolved to change his life through this game. Screens across the globe tune into Blue Lock TV as the fixture kicks off, Kaiser feeding Ness while Isagi keeps pace and weighs his options. Still viewing Kaiser as the team's nucleus and a sharper version of himself, Isagi decides to study him and fold the lessons into his own growth.

Ness, pressured by Agi, crosses to Grim, and when Grim tries to return the ball to Kaiser, Isagi cuts it out. Reo immediately challenges him, mocking the theft from a teammate and calling the movement far too readable. Trying to win it back, Isagi is stunned by how much sturdier Reo's frame has become.

Reo slips past Isagi, then beats Ness with a nutmeg that Isagi recognizes as a lift from Sae Itoshi. Nearing the goal, Reo resolves to stop depending on Nagi and outdo him with strikes of his own. Nagi brands him greedy as Reo unleashes an imitation of Rin Itoshi's outside spin shot.

The effort curls toward the upper corner but Gagamaru swats it clear, taunting Reo that it remains nothing more than a copy from a pampered chameleon.

Having made the lineup, Yukimiya treats the match as his chance to turn his life around.

Isagi registers how sharply Reo has improved, spotting a nutmeg drawn from Sae Itoshi.

Reo reproduces Rin Itoshi's outside spin shot, but Gagamaru keeps it out of the net.
