Brat

With Baro lining up to fire, Isagi sets his stance to defend, reassured that he, Kaiser, and Gagamaru together can smother the attempt. As Baro tries to weave between Isagi and Kaiser, Snuffy inserts himself and mocks the younger man, asking whether he plans to lean on a level-headed elder for a pass. He labels him a brat and warns that raw ego takes nobody far. Baro refuses the bait, vowing to live by his own rules and to cut a path with nothing but his own power. He tells Snuffy that if he ever fails to reach the world's summit, he would sooner burn out spectacularly.

When Isagi and Kaiser both step across to seal the lane, Baro splits them with a double nutmeg, rolling the ball beneath both sets of legs. Noa lunges to smother the effort, but Snuffy pins him back, giving Baro a clear look at goal. Gagamaru cannot reach it, and the strike lands, marking Baro's second of the day.

Baro spurns any reliance on Snuffy and commits to winning through his own effort alone. His finish beats Gagamaru and knots the scoreline at two apiece.

Titled Brat, this is the seventh chapter of Volume 26 and the two hundred twenty-eighth overall, set within the Neo Egoist League Arc. The Bastard München versus Ubers match carries on, with Bastard holding a two to one edge at the outset before the equalizer. Muneyuki Kaneshiro wrote the chapter and Yusuke Nomura illustrated it.
