Summary

Loki calls Rin wild and notes how far his tongue lolls out, while Noa recognizes this as the true face of Blue Lock's top ranked player. Down on the turf after colliding with Rin, Isagi thanks Kaiser for winning him time to face Rin, only for Kaiser to order him to hang back. As the two squabble over who takes Rin on, Rin fixes on Isagi as the one he means to pulverize, dismissing Kaiser as a pest, and resolves that all that remains is to set his life alight and summon the nerve to die.

Isagi charges in, and Rin bristles when Kaiser refuses to engage, wanting to crush them both. Ness barges into the scrum for the fun of it, making Rin realize his plan has fallen apart. Rin lofts the ball high and it drops in front of Charles. When Ness asks Kaiser what he thought of the press, Kaiser answers that he does not care, since he is no longer Ness's master.

Delighted to have the ball and a stage, Charles draws an eager call for a pass from Shido. Kaiser, meanwhile, concludes he has read Rin's gift, judging his skill the finest in Blue Lock and noting how Isagi keeps adapting to overcome him, so that the heart of Blue Lock is their rivalry, and his own task is to steal the limelight from the shadows of their sparks. Raichi cannot stop Charles feeding Shido, but Kaiser cuts the pass out with a header, and Rin dashes for the loose ball. Balancing his attention between Rin and Kaiser, Isagi realizes the three of them are locked in a rock, paper, scissors standoff, and that a fourth piece will hold the key to the next goal.
