Summary

Rin keeps the ball on the move while Isagi freezes, utterly unable to read him and wondering if the man is a fool, a lunatic, or simply unsatisfied by any goal. Finding no way to halt him, Isagi admits Rin is terrifying. Rin steps up and asks whether this is really all Isagi has, urging his rival to come and kill him, and branding him a failed rival if he cannot.

When no answer comes, Rin shoves Isagi to the ground and dribbles on. Furious, Isagi hauls himself up, certain he shares the same fire, that he too has died and been reborn, and that his gift for adaptation makes him a genius.

Rin feeds Charles and orders him to stop sending timid passes, demanding he bare his soul. Charles readies his nastiest delivery as Loki watches on in delight. Nearing the goal line, Charles runs into Kiyora's defense, and when he whips in a Rabona cross, Kaiser, who had been smothering Rin, is barged aside as Rin sprints to meet it. Both Rin and Shido converge on the ball. Charles rates it his nastiest move yet, having dropped it where either striker can reach, and calls on the two freaks to kill each other for it.
