Chapter 276

Shido, unable to stomach Rin's character, still rates the shot as art, and asks Charles to judge who is crazier and destined to change the world, urging him to feed that player.

Isagi rewinds the moments before the goal, searching for his mistake, and understands that Rin knew he would collide with him yet showed no fear and did it regardless. He bitterly casts himself as a random supporting character who merely awakened Rin's prodigious talent.

As both sides ready the restart, Rin tells Isagi he is glad he chose him as a rival and urges him to hate him, since hatred only makes Rin stronger, insisting Isagi has a duty to keep trying to kill him until he dies. Isagi vows that for the final goal he will devour Rin right back.

Loki thanks Rin for awakening Charles and enters the match. Noa follows him onto the field, pulling Kunigami and Kurona off and adding Igarashi. Rin tells Isagi he is glad to have picked him as a rival, since it makes him stronger.

This marks Loki's first time taking the pitch during the Neo Egoist League, prompting Noa to join in kind. Isagi's self doubt over being a mere supporting character sets up his resolve to devour Rin for the decisive goal.
