Trailing four to three with roughly fifteen minutes remaining, Team Z faces a simple ultimatum: score twice or be eliminated. Chigiri warns that Nagi has become impossible to read and urges Kunigami to drop back and shore up the defense, a plan Kunigami accepts since another Nagi goal would end their hopes. Raichi rages against retreating, insisting that forwards should be pushing forward and threatening his teammates if their sacrifice comes to nothing. Across the pitch, Reo simply orders Nagi to net the winner.

Play restarts with Isagi anxious about how much his exhausted teammates have left. When Bachira gets smothered, Chigiri calls for the ball and races clear. Zantetsu chases him down and lunges for a steal, but Chigiri knows that while his rival bursts faster off the mark, his own peak speed is higher. Nagi materializes to intercept, only for Isagi to body him aside so Chigiri can keep going.

Reo commands his side to swarm Chigiri, and an opponent taunts that a lone runner cannot beat the numbers. Chigiri fires anyway and clangs the shot off the post. Gagamaru pounces on the loose ball and shoots, yet Reo drops back to cover his keeper and smothers it. The rebound falls perfectly for Kunigami, who slots it home to level the score at four each. Watching the sequence unfold precisely as he had pictured it, Isagi realizes his gift for reading space could let him foresee the game itself.

The wave-style barrage pays off when Kunigami converts a scramble to tie the match at four goals apiece. The pressure Team Z applies pushes Nagi to awaken further, and Isagi crystallizes his understanding of spatial awareness, coming to believe his vision can predict how the field will develop.
