Summary

Confronting the fact that he has no dominant one-on-one tool, Isagi commits to evolving rather than fading into the ranks of the ordinary. He combines with Nagi to slip past Naruhaya, and the resulting goal levels the match at 3-3. Naruhaya soon strips the ball, teeing up Baro to restore the lead at 4-3. Studying how he was beaten, Isagi realizes Naruhaya keeps exploiting his blind spot, and he grasps how vital movement away from the ball is inside a duel.

Armed with that lesson, Isagi springs Nagi once more to knot the score at 4-4. Nagi warns that whoever strikes next will settle the whole thing, yet Isagi keeps his focus on rebuilding his style of play from the ground up.
