Chapter 62 of Blue Lock finds Team White down 3 to 1 as Isagi abandons his plan to coax Baro. Trusting only himself and Nagi, he weaponizes Baro as a decoy to carve open the Red defense and finish.
Isagi accepts that shaping his play around Baro in hopes of a response was a blunder; he cannot steer another person and refuses to keep waiting for Baro to shift. He tells Nagi he intends for the two of them to win and asks him to stay locked on his movements.
On the restart Isagi controls the ball and notices the heavy coverage clamped on Nagi. Rather than release it, he dribbles and fakes a pass toward Baro; once the pressure on Nagi eases, he slides it through. Reo cautions Chigiri against the ruse, and Baro demands the ball only to stay smothered by Kunigami. Nagi grasps that with defenders drawn to him, Isagi can knife through their blind spots, and Isagi buries a direct shot from Nagi's feed, pleased to have used Baro as bait and, in his words, devoured him.
Chigiri and Kunigami marvel that Isagi foresaw the whole sequence, and Reo begins to understand Nagi's fixation on him. As the pair celebrate, Isagi labels Baro a loser and tells him to stop obstructing him and Nagi.
Isagi sells a pass toward Baro before redirecting the ball to Nagi. Nagi returns it, and Isagi devours Baro to collect the feed and finish with a direct shot, narrowing Red's lead to 3 to 2.
