Summary

Watching Isagi's equalizer sink in, Baro understands the ache inside him is the taste of defeat, and he is bewildered that he bent to Isagi by passing. He sees that his old treatment of fellow players has circled back to punish him.

During a break, Chigiri, Kunigami, and Reo weigh their plan, aware the next goal crowns the winner. Chigiri praises Isagi's earlier play, and Reo resolves to deny Isagi the ball entirely; they settle on a final push built around Chigiri's speed. On the other bench Isagi and Nagi agree Chigiri is the gravest danger, and when Nagi asks about folding Baro into the scheme, Isagi doubts any words could reach the fallen king.

Reo opens with the ball but finds Isagi cutting off the lane to Chigiri, so he switches to Kunigami. Wary of a steal and unsure he can escape Baro, Kunigami returns it to Reo. Frustrated by the sterile back-and-forth, Reo takes Isagi on himself to reach Chigiri. He finally carves out a passing window, only for Nagi to dart in; Nagi grazes the ball without controlling it, and it spills into Baro's area. Isagi turns to him with an invitation to go, Loser.
