I Don't Need You, the eighty-second Blue Lock chapter, resets the fourth stage at 4-4 with the next goal deciding everything. Nagi's blunt words about wanting Rin over him finally light the fire in Bachira's own ego.
Chigiri leaps onto Isagi's back to mark the equalizer, and Nagi marvels at how he cracked Rin open. Asked whether it was planned, Isagi describes mapping out Rin's likely reaction and gambling on a back heel he doubted Rin would picture. Baro calls it a huge risk, while Chigiri notes Isagi could only manage it because he now shares Rin's kind of vision.
Across the pitch, Bachira wonders how to reach the level of Rin and Isagi. He came to the facility hoping to find friends but understands he cannot truly have them until he grows an ego of his own, leaving him unsure what else he should even want. Rin urges his teammates to hold nothing back and pledges to score.
Off the restart, Rin works a one-two with Tokimitsu that slips past Isagi, then lifts a high ball to Aryu under Nagi's watch. Aryu chests it down, and though Nagi jumps to steal with a trap of his own, Aryu's long reach snatches it right back and scolds the attempt as sloppy. With Isagi glued to Rin, Aryu instead finds Bachira, whose hesitation over the next move lets Chigiri slide in and rob him. The ball runs to Baro, who shields Tokimitsu to keep it. Nagi taunts Bachira, suggesting he is losing on purpose to get recruited by the winners, then adds that if his own side wins he would rather play alongside Rin, and he believes Isagi feels the same. The jab ignites Bachira's ego, and he swears to win no matter the cost.
Rin and Tokimitsu link on a one-two before Rin, hounded by Isagi, switches the ball to Aryu. Aryu brings it down with a midair chest trap, only for Nagi to pinch it with his own trap, and Aryu reclaims it with his long limbs and feeds Bachira. Bachira's moment of indecision lets Chigiri steal and knock the ball toward Baro. Nagi's needling that they would sooner pick Rin than a self-sabotaging Bachira sparks the striker's resolve.
