History

With a band of thugs at his back, he shakes down passersby throughout Blue Crow and targets outsiders in particular. He sends the group after Faye Valentine during her trip to the moon, but Gren pulls her clear and leaves them behind. He also picks up word that a man called Vicious is arranging a meeting there under the alias Julia, and when Spike Spiegel appears he wrongly takes him for that contact and moves to rob him, which goes nowhere. That failure breaks him. Wandering the streets, he resolves to abandon crime, and when Jet Black stops to ask him for directions he waves the foreigner off. Vowing to find honest work, he hurls himself into a garbage truck trundling by in a fit of despair.

Background

The credits reduce him to Man in Jupiter Jazz (Part 2), while his speaking part in Part 1 went uncredited. The leap into the garbage truck is never actually shown and comes from the script. David Footsman supplies the English voice and Hiroshi Naka the Japanese.
