History

Ready to close up the law office for the evening, Brenda and her daughter instead walk in on Spike and Vicious in the seconds after the pair have killed Lee. Spike freezes them in place, and once he has her name he orders her to bury the memory of the scene. She consents and slips away with her child. Asked afterward by Vicious why he spared them, Spike explains that killing children breaks his code, which earns him the mocking label of candy apple from Vicious.
