Gett

Gett serves as an officer of the Inter-Solar System Police, though his real assignment sends him deep inside a dangerous extremist cell. His brief appearance turns him into the linchpin of a bioweapon plot, since the sample he smuggles out sets much of the surrounding story in motion.

Working undercover among the Space Warriors, Gett learns that the group means to hold civilization hostage with the Monkey Business virus. He steals a vial of it and slips away toward Ganymede aboard a small life-support pod. The extremists uncover his betrayal and open fire on the pod, and, believing the strike fatal, they abandon the wreck. Gett clings to life with grave wounds.

Faye Valentine, marooned in the same stretch of space, comes upon him but lacks any way to treat his injuries. He presses the case into her hands and begs her to carry it to the police on Ganymede, dying before he can explain what it holds or why it matters.

The role carries no formal name on screen and is listed simply in the credits, while the shooting script refers to him as Gould. He features only in the fourth session and does not survive it.
