Gordon

Gordon runs the Spiders From Mars casino and moves in openly criminal circles. His lone appearance casts him as a gambling-den boss chasing a piece of technology worth far more than any jackpot, and as a man whose treachery finally rebounds on himself.

Gordon arranges a black-market deal for a rare chip able to crack nearly any security code, with the device set to reach one of his dealers concealed inside an ordinary casino token. When Faye Valentine turns up caught inside his establishment, he decides to press her into service as the courier who collects it, dangling the cancellation of her debts and mistaking her for a gambler known as Poker Alice.

The scheme unravels once Spike Spiegel, also on the floor and resembling the true courier, gets tangled in it. Gordon's men track down their agent only to find the chip already lost, while the Bebop crew seizes Faye. She quietly signals Gordon that the hunters hold the chip, and he strikes a bargain to buy it back for thirty million woolongs, fully meaning to betray them before the handoff. Outmaneuvered at every turn, he watches Faye slip away in the Red Tail. His gunmen loose rockets after her, but she flips their guidance, sending the barrage straight back into Gordon and his crew and killing them all.

Gordon features in the third session of the series and does not survive it. His voice is provided by Shinji Ogawa in Japanese and Jamieson Price in English.
