History

Working as a lawyer on Tharsis, Lee steps out of his office one evening mid-phone call and tells the voice on the line that a Judge Bradly has cleared the warrants meant to probe the Syndicate. He never suspects that Spike and Vicious, dressed as janitors at the firm, have come to end his life. Spike loops a garrotte around him from behind while Vicious buries a blade in his chest over and over, sneering a question about how it feels as the life drains out of him. Job finished, the pair squabble over whose method was cleaner and who will mop up the mess. Right then a woman called Brenda walks in beside her young daughter and locks up in horror at the body. With Spike's gun on her, she vows to breathe not a word of the night, then bolts in terror with her child the moment he barks at her to leave.
