Hiding behind the alias Doctor Londes, he founds the Scratch movement to let people chase the same experience he had. By 2071 Londes carries a bounty, and Jet Black and Edward eventually trace him to the hospice. They dismantle the systems he had rewired, then choose to leave him where he lies, hoping he finds gentler dreams. Confusion surrounds his name: it is drawn from the identity card by his hospice bed, yet subtitles render it 'Ronny Spangen' and the credits list him as 'Rony.'
