Overview

This group is made up of three boys who share a class with Chiquitita. Each has a distinct look. The one who leads them keeps dark hair split down the center of his forehead under a heavy fringe, pairs brownish track pants with a shirt collared in black, and sports a robotic head with jagged teeth labeled Iceman across the front, plus a short horizontal mark on the back.

A spiky-haired boy with thick protruding black hair rounds out the second slot, wearing a shirt patterned with a dark star front and back, shadowed panels running from the shoulders, and pale trousers, his face set apart by a sizable nose and very narrow eyes. The third has untidy, pointed blond hair and favors a hoodie marked by a small white square nested in a larger black one over some text, his black track pants striped white down the legs, his eyes notably round above a pair of prominent front teeth.

Role

The boys begin as skeptics. When Chiquitita declines to throw a punch back at them, they brand him a liar and a coward putting on a tough front. Their bravado, though, is hollow, and they end up on the receiving end of bullying themselves. Only once Chiquitita rescues them do they recognize how badly they had treated him and decide to become his friends.

Their introduction comes in the Volume 11 omake, where Chiquitita presents himself to his new class speaking oddly because of his heritage. The leader punches him, hoping to provoke the boy who calls fighting his specialty, but the alien refuses, explaining that his father preaches love and peace and forbids hurting others. Dismissing him as a weakling, the boys later get cornered by older kids who slam them to the ground. When Chiquitita walks past and is ordered into line for a beating, he instead lands a jab that launches the bully away, recalling his father's other lesson about looking after his friends.
