History

At the gathering of the five daimyō, he openly doubted where the Water Daimyō's loyalties lay, given how slowly that ruler warmed to the Shinobi Alliance, and he threw his own support behind the coalition alongside the Lightning Daimyō. Sheltered later in a safe house, he grumbled about the trouble the shinobi were causing.

He and his peers passed a night at mahjong and cards, and when a messenger roused them over a strange light in the sky, all five were swept into the Infinite Tsukuyomi, from which Naruto and Sasuke eventually released them once the war ended. By the events of Shikamaru Shinden, Danjō had taken over his office.
