History

At a gathering of the Five Great Shinobi Countries' feudal lords, he consented to forming the Allied Shinobi Forces, and the anime has him summoned to that Daimyo Summit at the Fourth Raikage's request. He resurfaces later in a safe house with the other lords, weighing how the alliance ought to be rewarded once the war ended. On another night the five daimyo wore themselves out over mahjong and cards, and when a messenger roused them about a strange light piercing the darkness, they were all caught in the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Naruto and Sasuke ultimately freed him along with the rest of the world by ending the war. In the New Era, the anime notes that Tekkan took his place.
