Leo is a seven-year-old boy from Tonika Village whose home is wiped out in a massacre. Brash on the surface but fiercely loving underneath, he becomes one of a handful of orphans taken in by the guard Dokku, forming a new family across the anime's Power arc.
Leo is a small boy of seven with short black hair. On the night his village burned he was still in plain blue pyjamas. Afterward he turns up in everyday clothes, among them a yellow shirt and later a light blue one, paired with brown shorts and green crocs.
There is plenty of mischief in Leo. He needles his sister Miina by snatching her drawings and calling her strange, and he ribs their teacher Dokku about his weight, yet the affection underneath is obvious. He shields Miina from the sight of charred bodies during the attack and pushes her to keep moving toward the neighbouring village, and he holds his grandfather in high regard. Grief can sharpen his temper, as when Faz's complaining pushed him into blurting out a painful truth he soon regretted. Bravery is his constant thread, whether hurling himself at a shinobi far older than he is or sprinting across a rickety bridge, and Naruto sums him up as gutsy. Easily impressed, he keeps trying to copy Naruto's water-walking alongside his friends, and he pours real love into his patched-together new family of Miina, Faz, Sora, Lando, Dokku, and Shiseru.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
The night Tonika Village is attacked, Leo and Miina are told to hide indoors, but the house catches fire and traps them until Dokku hauls them out and points them toward Hacho Village for help, leaving Miina his jacket. Two metal bars fall from that jacket into Leo's hands. Too spent to reach the village, the siblings are found again by Dokku, who has also rescued Sora, Faz, and Lando, and the survivors shelter at Shiseru's house. Life there settles into small moments, a fishing trip that fills a whole bucket thanks to Lando, and a tense first meeting when Dokku mistakes Naruto and Sakura for enemies. Leo greets Naruto with a kick before the confusion clears, then joins Faz and Lando in cheerfully failing to walk on water like him.
When his supposedly dead grandfather appears, Leo hugs him, only to recoil on learning the old man was raised by the Impure World Reincarnation. After Konoha reinforcements drive off Kabuto's forces, Dokku is abducted, and it is Leo who steadies the other children and rallies them to rescue him. Carrying the sounds needed to activate the Saezuri back to Tonika's ruins, the group finds Kabuto and Disonasu holding Dokku, watches Disonasu trigger the Ama no Hoko, and flees the reincarnated shinobi. Dokku turns back to stop the weapon, urging Leo to endure the hardship ahead and look after the others. When Naruto loses himself and begins taking Kurama's shape, Miina calms him. Leo and the rest then beg Naruto to save Shiseru as she falls, and once he does and defeats his own clone, the reunited family thanks him.

Leo is mischievous, teasing his sister Miina and their teacher Dokku, though real affection lies beneath the ribbing. He is consistently brave, willing to charge at a shinobi far older than him, and Naruto describes him as gutsy.
After the attack on Tonika Village, Leo is cared for by the guard Dokku, who rescues him along with Miina, Sora, Faz, and Lando. The group shelters together at Shiseru's house and grows into a new patched-together family.
