Michizō Manaka is a sword-carrying bandit out of the Land of Stone, quick to take offence and happy to lift coins from anyone, children included. His brief brush with Naruto's group ends badly for him when Sazanami steps in and cuts him down to size.
Bald and built on a large frame, Michizō frames his mouth with a short black beard and peers out through small, dark eyes. A red scarf sits at his neck above a green vest knotted shut at the front. At his waist he wears a belt that holds his sword, and his hands are covered by fingerless gloves.
Michizō bruises easily, taking insult when Sazanami buys Akamaru a bit of milk and charges it to his tab. His scruples are just as thin elsewhere, since he sees nothing wrong with lifting money straight out of a child's hands.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
During the Gosunkugi Capture Mission, Michizō is passing time at cards with fellow bandits inside an inn when Naruto Uzumaki, Kiba Inuzuka, and Hinata Hyūga arrive chasing leads on another outlaw, Gosunkugi. As Naruto reaches for his wallet to settle a bill, Michizō clamps onto his arm and tries to rob him. Sazanami intervenes, offering instead to cover milk for Akamaru at Michizō's expense, which prompts the bandit to draw his blade. Before the swing lands, Sazanami slices the sword clean in two and drops him with a blow to the gut. A wanted poster then reveals the reward on his head, which Sazanami hands to the bartender to cover the damage. His whereabouts afterward go unrecorded. His reliance on a sword suggests at least some grounding in kenjutsu, though it does him little good here.
