Mitsuo

Mitsuo's black hair falls to about cheek length, its bangs resting just over a pair of black eyes. In his thieving days he wears a long, light-grey shirt held shut by a white sash, along with simple shorts. Once he embraces Ninshu, he dons the movement's pale, high-collared kimono, tied with a dark sash and trimmed at the collar with magatama beads.

A short temper defines the early Mitsuo, who flares up the moment he thinks Futami has trespassed on his turf, and he is no stranger to violence. Exposure to Hagoromo's philosophy reshapes him, however, turning him into a humble adherent of Ninshu.

In the wake of the clash with Kaguya Otsutsuki and the Ten-Tails, Mitsuo settles beside one of the many bridges left in ruins. He poses as a helpful guide for those wanting to cross, then robs them instead. His scheme meets its end when Hagoromo arrives with Futami. Mitsuo begins working the pair with his patter until he recognizes Futami as a former partner in crime, and, furious at what he takes for an encroachment on his territory, starts a quarrel. He soon learns that Futami has given up thievery and now means to help Hagoromo rebuild the bridge. The same transformation overtakes Mitsuo, who becomes the second person to follow Hagoromo along the path of Ninshu.
