Appearance

Pale-skinned, Setsuna has light eyes and long blue hair. His white outfit bears the hexagram shared by the whole Gang of Four, worn with a pouched belt, black gloves, and martial artist footwear. Transformation reshapes his hair into three triangular tufts and paints two red squares from his upper forehead, one of them stretching down across his eyes.

Abilities

Setsuna fights best at medium to long range, leaning on techniques and thrown weapons to hold enemies at a distance, and his aim stays sharp even against a moving target. He dabbles in puppetry too, once steering a puppet built to resemble Kusuna so he could mislead foes while dueling Neji. In close quarters he swings a pair of double-bladed sickles, cutting down plenty of Shion's guards with ease.

Yomi's dark chakra fuels his wind style, letting him conjure violent gusts and tornadoes that merge with his allies' flames into sweeping firestorms. At its height, his wind joins Shizuku's water to spawn a thunderstorm that hurls lightning across whole regions, though the effort empties both his borrowed and natural chakra fast.

History

Clever and fond of showing off, Setsuna serves on Yomi's squad during their mission to unseal the demon Moryo, and he takes a major role in slaying the guards at Moryo's prison. The team is later sent after Shion, the one priestess capable of halting the demon, but Naruto's intervention foils the assassination. A combined assault from the group nearly finishes Naruto, yet the fight exhausts all the extra chakra Yomi lent Setsuna, and he pulls back with his comrades.

In a following clash he stalls Neji with the Wind Release: Rotating Shuriken, though Neji sees through the ruse meant to draw him from Shion. During a fresh bid on Shion's life, Setsuna and Shizuku ravage the forest as a lightning-spewing storm, again burning through his borrowed chakra. Right after Kusuna dies and Sakura locates Shizuku, Rock Lee seizes the moment per Neji's plan and lands a crushing taijutsu blow. A toppling tree then claims Setsuna's life.
