Toki (Shinobazu)

A drilling apparatus rode on Toki's right arm, the tool behind his Crimson Earth attacks. He had small black eyes and a short, spiky crop of brown hair bound with a white cloth headband. Over his frame he wore a sleeveless green robe marked by a yellow stripe running down from its black collar.

Toki carried himself with arrogance and liked to crack jokes in the middle of a fight, yet he battled with a strategist's patience, once steering his quarry into a wide crater. His knack for reshaping terrain, including a man-made canal cut to force a current, hinted at a solid grasp of geography.

Toki built his combat style around the drill mounted on his arm. By striking through the ground he could gut anyone caught above the machine, and with the Crimson Earth technique he gouged out craters and cavities with punishing force. During the Gantetsu escort he first bored a canal to generate a current, working in tandem with Monju's Murderous Grasp to split the prisoner's convoy and strand Naruto, Gantetsu, and Todoroki away from the rest. The next day he moved in for the kill himself, luring the trio into a trap only to crush a set of transformed shadow clones instead. The duel that followed with Naruto turned against him, and a rockslide set off by a Rasengan ended his life.
