Eriko Aizawa

Eriko is a woman with chin-length brown hair worn in a short style, paired with matching brown eyes. Her plain, everyday look reflects her role as an ordinary wife and mother rather than a figure tied to the investigation itself.

Family comes first for Eriko, who frets over the welfare of both her children and her husband. She resents how much Shuichi's job consumes him, leaving him little room to be present for their kids, and she is not shy about voicing that frustration when his work pulls him away from home.

Eriko is first brought up when Shuichi arrives at task force headquarters with a visible bruise, having quarreled with her over the long hours he keeps despite having two children to help raise. She later appears in person while walking through a park with the kids, where her daughter Yumi spots Shuichi resting on a bench. Eriko gently scolds him for not warning her he would be home early, saying she would have prepared a larger dinner. When he embraces Yumi and breaks into tears, the puzzled girl turns to her mother to ask why.
