Freddi Guntair is the senior FBI agent placed in charge of the twelve operatives secretly dispatched to Japan at L's request to investigate the police during the Kira case. Appearing chiefly in the live-action film series, he heads the team's research before becoming one of the Death Note's casualties.
Freddi figures only in the film adaptation, where he is depicted as a mature man with cropped black hair, a mustache, and a full beard, the conventional look of a seasoned federal investigator.
Little is shown of Freddi beyond his standing within the bureau. As the head of the dispatched agents and the leader of their research effort, he is the organizational anchor of the FBI's covert presence in Japan, the man through whom the others' information is meant to flow.
While under the Death Note's control, Raye Penber unknowingly writes Freddi's name, compelling him to transmit a file listing the names and photographs of every FBI agent then operating in Japan. Soon afterward Freddi succumbs to a heart attack, dying alongside the rest of the contingent that Penber is manipulated into eliminating. In the anime, the same role is filled by a character renamed David Lincher.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
