Skyer

Skyer is a low-level operative inside the American Mafia cell that seizes a Death Note during the second half of Death Note. He appears only at the gang's last stand, as one of the few still alive after the raid on their stronghold.

Skyer belongs to the American Mafia faction that obtains a Death Note and later comes under attack once investigators close in on its base.

Skyer and Roy stand among the few Mafia members not immediately cut down when the assault comes, but their reprieve does not last. Mello triggers an explosion within the compound, and Skyer is presumed to have died in the blast beside Roy.

Skyer's role in Death Note is very minor. The story never lingers on his looks and gives him no dialogue or defining behavior; he functions purely as one of the armed operatives holding out inside the Mafia hideout.

Skyer is associated with Roy, a fellow Mafia operative. The two are among the handful left standing after the raid, and both are presumed killed together in the explosion Mello sets off.
